I've been working regularly with Marriott Autograph Hotels over the last few months, so was delighted to be asked to shoot the new Wheeler's restaurant at their five star Threadneedles Hotel, located in a stunning former bank in the heart of the city.
Wheeler's Oyster Bar and Rib Room is Marco Pierre White's latest venture, with slick masculine interiors reflecting the city location, and an indulgent menu - with one of the best boozy trifles that I've ever sampled….perk of the job!

I was commissioned to shoot a series of food and interiors images for new French restaurant Chez Antoinette a few weeks back - after a string of East London location shoots it was fun to be working in tourist packed Covent Garden for a change.
All the restaurants vintage crockery was bought in France and shipped over to the Uk - serious prop envy!

August brought another great commission from The Cunning Plan Group, this time shooting interiors for a change at their latest boutique hotel, located above The Bull gastro pub, a stone's throw from Liverpool Street station.
Shooting the small but perfectly formed attic suites made for some challenging photographer/assistant/lighting stand/tripod tetris - but the amazing balcony views of the gherkin made up for the workout!

Back in March I was commissioned to shoot the interior at gorgeous Clapton restaurant Maeves Kitchen - who specialise in "Stews and Brews"
The interior is stunning, flooded with lots of lovely natural light and filled with a great mix of battered furniture, and quirky details like vintage cutlery and old marmalade jars on the tables. Maeves also stock lots of great East London based brands, including Dalston Cola (truly amazing tasting!) and Pressure Drop beer - so definitely worth a visit if you're ever over that way…..
