Some new work from a recent commission for Brasserie Blanc. Shooting on location in West London we created an image bank of food, drink and lifestyle imagery, covering everything from cocktails to kid's meals - shot over one super productive shoot day which ran like a military operation!
New personal work, collaborating with food stylist Rosie Mackean, and props stylist Zoe Harrington, inspired by the concept of "sharing food". From Scandinavian inspired breakfasts to Spanish paprika roasted lamb, finishing with a retro Italian aperitivo set up.
Retouch by Darkroom Digital.
Some new work shot for regular client Carnaby Street/Sister London, showcasing the areas coolest bartenders making their signature drinks, some serious mixology skills on show!
Lovely to be able to share some of the stills from a global image library that I shot at the end of last year for Shell - showcasing their forecourt food and drink offer. Commissioned by Iris Worldwide and Foxtrot Papa we spent five days in the studio shooting both stills and moving image for markets including Europe, South Africa and Asia.
Great fun having our own "garage" set build to shoot around - though slightly challenging resisting shelves full of sweets and crisps for five whole days....
Look forward to sharing the moving image from the shoot soon as well.
Commissioned by Shell/Iris Worldwide/Foxtrot Papa, Production and Retouching Foxtrot Papa, Food styling Frankie Unsworth assisted by Charlotte O'Connell, Prop Styling Clare Piper, Photo Assisting Ben Hughes, Make up Laura Barrow, models Renato, Eric, Mark and Delina from BMA Models, Set build by Art-Dept, shot at PSC Studios.
Some new drinks work, playing around with lighting set ups, from full on summer's day shadows to a totally contrasting dark and atmospheric look....
Great to be working again with regular client Duppy Share Rum a few weeks ago, shooting some mouthwatering summer cocktail recipes. Love the clean styling and fresh colour palette and had fun on set creating Caribbean shadows and light in central London....
Thanks to the Duppy Share team for the commission, Tom and Anna at Lisa Pritchard and Selim Korycki for photo assisting.
Some new work shot a few weeks back for Greek Street based restaurant Bo Drake. I've shot quite a few cocktails over the last few years but this is the first time I've come across a hickory smoked Japanese whisky based combo! Had great fun capturing the stages of smoking the whisky, and the whisky/hickory mix smelt absolutely amazing!
Bo Drake mix East Asian and American BBQ flavours in their food and drink, so definitely worth popping in when you're in Soho....
Lovely to be commissioned again last month by the fantastic Duppy Share Rum team, always a fun shoot and this time we had 50 litres of rum on set and metallic gold sprayed pineapples - definitely in the running for best prop of the year!
We shot a mix of new seasonal cocktail recipes, covering Halloween and Christmas, and some promo shots for the Duppy's Spirit Social pop up events, showcasing the best of London's new drinks brands....
Thanks to the Duppy Share team for the commission, Tom and Cassie at Lisa Pritchard and Selim Korycki for photo assisting.
Last month brought a mammoth shoot from Sister London, who commissioned me to shoot all the imagery for this year's Carnaby Street Food Guide.
We covered 40 restaurant and bar locations in just 5 shoot days, which ran super smoothly thanks to military planning from the team at Sister, and perfect weather for all five days, which is pretty rare/lucky for the UK!
Was challenging but great fun to shoot 40 different set ups, from cafes bathed in natural light to moody basement bars - and also have the opportunity to check out most of Soho's eateries and sample more food than was probably strictly necessary….
Thanks to the lovely team at Sister for the commission, Jonathon at Lisa Pritchard , and Scott Hobson-Jones and Ben Hughes for photo assisting.
I was recently commissioned by regular client, The Duppy Share Rum, to shoot the first 'Spirit Social' a new monthly pop-up bar night that they are hosting, celebrating the best new spirit brands that London has to offer.
The commission made for a rare night shoot for me, at the fabulously old school Maxilla Social Club, tucked under the Westway, capturing a mix of crowd, bar and product shots of both Duppy Share's premium rum and other guest spirit brands such as Pedrino Tonic.
Thanks to the Duppy team for the commission, Aleks Kocela for photo assisting and Tom at Lisa Pritchard.
I was delighted to be commissioned to shoot a series of recipe shots and portraits for premium rum brand The Duppy Share last month.
We shot in a lovely location in Shoreditch, on one of the hottest days of the year, resulting in a set that was pretty much hotter than the sun!
Despite the crazy temperatures the shoot was a great team effort, with beautiful light and gorgeous props, and I can confirm that the Duppy Share definitely makes a great rum punch!
Big team to thank on this one - Jess, George and Rosie from the Duppy Share and Kate at Palm PR for the commission, Lucy Harvey for prop styling, Dan Thompson for mixing the amazing cocktails, Scott Hobson-Jones for photo assisting, and Tom and Cassie at Lisa Pritchard for ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day.
